Caviar nails round two!

This time, I used Loreal’s #530 “Now You Sea Me” (two coats) and silver microbeads purchased at the craft store.

I love the simplicity of this look, with just a small pop of detail on the ring finger.

My first attempt at saran wrap nails!

This is super easy to do, if you haven’t already seen a tutorial for it. You simply paint your nails a base color (I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Sun Kissed) and let it dry completely.

Next, you paint over the base color with your second color (Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in #390 Binding Blue) and immediately scrunch up a piece of saran wrap and press it into the wet polish to achieve the sponged look.

Finally, finish it off with a topcoat! Pictured here I used a gloss topcoat, but I also tried it with a matte topcoat and that looked really good as well.

It’s definitely a fun look for summer and a great way to experiment with different color combinations!

I resisted this trend for the longest time…I wasn’t sure if I liked it and I didn’t really want to delve into something that everyone else was doing.

But I finally caved, and I’m so glad I did!

I didn’t buy the Ciate kit, which runs about $25 at Sephora.

Instead, I bought a multi-pack of microbeads at the craft store, which after a coupon came to $4. Can’t beat that!

I used Revlon’s “Peachy” & “Minted” with clear/irridescent microbeads. I absolutely love the way that the polish looks showing through!

I painted all of my nails with one coat, let it dry completely, and then went through with the second coat & worked with each nail individually, pouring the microbeads over the wet polish.

It really couldn’t be easier…the biggest tip I can give you is to not use a top coat or to only use it on the very tips of your nails. The topcoat more or less ruins the effect.

Let your nails dry completely (about a half hour) and enjoy!

Also! Don’t forget my giveaway, which ends Thursday!

Happy 4th of July!
To achieve these super fun, eye-catching and festive nails is extremely easy.
I started out by coating all of my fingers (aside from my ring finger) in Sally Hansen’s Nail Growth Miracle in #340 “Divine Wine”.
Next, I covered the nail of my ring finger in Sally Hansen X-Treme Wear “White Out”.
Then, after letting my nails dry completely, I used my Kiss Nail Art brush in white to paint stripes on all of my red nails.
I then used my Salon Express stamping set (available at drugstores for about $10) and used the stars pattern with Sally Hansen X-Treme Wear #250 “Blue It”. This can be pretty tricky and might take a few tries to get it right, but I think the result is worth it!
Lastly, for a little extra sparkle, I covered that nail with Spoiled “Shaken Snow Globe”.
Let everything dry completely and finish with a topcoat and you have beautiful 4th of July nails!

Mint green and gold is officially one of the most fabulous combinations ever.
This look is super easy and fun to do, but there are a few tips to follow for success.
I began by applying three coats of Revlon’s “Mint”. I let this dry for a few hours so that I was sure it was completely dry.
Next, I used two pieces of scotch tape, with the corners meeting in the middle of my nail. Something really important is that you want to cut the ridged edge off of the tape from where you tore it off so that it’s completely smooth.
I then painted one coat of Orly “Rage” on the two exposed triangles of my nail.
I advise you to work one nail at a time, that way you can peel the tape off immediately, that way it won’t dry and it will come off smooth.
Lastly, I used my LA Color Club nail art polish in “Gold” to outline the triangles. This is optional, but I think it gives it a more finished look, as well as hiding any tiny imperfections from where you tore the tape off!
Finish with a topcoat, and voila!

Pointer finger & pinky- Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri “Peachy Breeze”- 2 coats.

I’m sure a lot of you have already seen this polish, but I am so obsessed with it I had to post it!

This is “Fast Track” from the China Glaze Hunger Games “Capitol Colors” collection.

It’s not nearly as grey as it looks in the picture…it’s more of a yellow-undertone nude/taupe color with gold glitter. It’s absolutely gorgeous. I was surprised that I was able to get it so opaque, as the polish itself is so sheer. It reaches opacity in 3 coats, but with 4 you can get absolute opacity.

I have been searching for the set that was exclusive to Ulta for two months and last week I finally found it. Yay! The collection is four minis which also includes “Agro”, “Smoke and Ashes” & “Luxe and Lush”. The rest of these polishes will undoubtedly find their way onto this blog sooner or later :)

Sally Hansen’s “Blue Me Away!”- 2 coats

Revlon’s “Blue Mosaic”- 2 coats on thumb and ring finger.

I think this is super fun and bright for summer and would be a great look for the beach! “Blue Me Away!” is a bright, electric blue color that is still one of my all time favorite polishes. Great opacity in 2 coats. “Blue Mosaic” is a gorgeous multi-dimensional glitter with blue, silver, and green confetti.
